METROSTARS GOT A LAST MINUTE DRAW

OLLO SCORED A GLORIOUS VICTORY FOR FC OPA
The Lady Luck was in favour of FC OPA when they played against VPS-juniorit in Kempele today. With a winning goal made by Cameroonian midfielder Ollo during the extra time FC OPA got 3 points and defeated VPS-j 2-1 (0-0).

After a very boring first half the dangerous left winger Papa Niang scored when 52. minutes was played. VPS-j defender Lauri Karri tripped Sami Hyvärinen and penalty was given to FC OPA.

Males Lombo made a shocking equaliser at last minute. When the teams were preparing themselves to a draw Kim Kaijalainen shot a free kick and Ollo headed the ball to goal and secured 3 points to FC OPA.

THE MATCH SCHEDULE HAS CHANGED
The next home game after tomorrow is FC OPA vs Närpes Kraft, which will be played at pitch number 4 in Heinäpää Sport Center. The kick-off is at 18:00. Originally the match was supposed to be played at artificial grass in Heinäpää and the kick-off was an hour earlier.

A DISAPPOINTING DRAW
MetroStars and Spartak played again against each other in a re-arranged game. Spartak was again a difficult opponent to beat and this time MetroStars wasn´t so lucky. After 90 minutes hard struggle the points were drawn with a result 1-1 (1-1).

MetroStars controlled the game a short period. During that period Mikko Rantala scored but Spartak managed to equalise only 6 minutes after the opening shot. The scorer was Ville Nikkanen who was among the key players with the KajHa (the master affiliated team for Spartak) goalkeeper Levan Lomidze.

RESERVES VICTORIOUS IN KAJAANI
FC OPA reserve team returned to action in Kajaani after summer break, which lasted over one month. MetroStars had some difficulties getting in to pace but finally fought the victory over the opponent Spartak Kajaani.

The final score was 2-1 (0-1). Aarne Hautajärvi made a nice header and Joonas Sohlo shot the winning goal, when 71 minutes was played.

MetroStars is now leading the 4th division regional group together with FC Nets and OuJK.

FC OPA BEAT FC YPA
With solid performance from Papa Niang, Ollo, Sergii Shakhov and Denys Pervov FC OPA won FC YPA 3-1 (1-1) in Ylivieska. Niang scored twice in the game and Ukranian striker Volodymyr Kilikevych once.

"I knew how they are playing and what they are trying to achieve. I took an advantage of it", said FC OPA coach Jyrki Kylmälä.

After today FC OPA has now 21 points in the 2nd Division Group C. With 26 points local rival OPS is leading the group. Papa Niang is the best scorer of the group at the moment.

FC OPA IS EXPORTING FOOTBALL
FC OPA will play next home game vs VPS-juniorit in Kempele at Sarkkiranta Sport Centre locating ca. 20 km south of Oulu. FC OPA, with local partner Ajax Sarkkiranta, is "exporting" football to an area were top quality games have never or for a long time been played. FC OPA is also trying to create a special event for Kempele citizens and to boost the operations of Ajax. The game will be played July 26th, kick-off is at 15:00.
